My Impact in Latin America

Fueled by curiosity and hungry to learn more.

I have lived and worked in southernmost tip of Patagonia, collaborated with community leaders in remote Guatemalan mountain villages and taught English to over 40 students in Santiago, Chile. I am an optimist by default and proactively lead with empathy.

Promoting Women's Health

Raised $3,000 to purchase 220 reusable menstrual kits, including reusable pads, from a Days for Girls in Guatemala. I partnered with the local Guatemalan team and hand delivered all of the kits to three Guatemalan mountain villages. There we provided guidance and education on menstrual and reproductive health.

Opening Doors Through Teaching English

I taught English to students from ages 5 to 65. I wrote every lesson plan with two goals in mind. Rule number one, have fun. Number two, build my student's confidence to speak a foreign language. Teaching is a true passion of mine that I will use for the rest of my life.

Tour Guiding In Patagonia

I lived on a remote farm outside the Chilean National Park, Torres Del Paine. I shared my passion for the outdoors while leading mountaineering tours through the park. I taught visitors about the plants, wildlife and cultural history of the region.
